I’ve been going to African touch since 2012. Ashley is very good personality or beautiful. She is now a French American. She do have wonderfully any type a hairstyle you like she can do it. She talks to you she make you laugh very happy person but only God knows deep down inside, but I see happiness every time I go there to get my hair done. I’ve been natural for thirteen years and this was the first salon experience that I can honestly say I enjoyed. The prices are unbeatable. I booked a braid down service which included a wash and blow out for a total price of $45. The salon was CLEAN and welcoming, as were all of the ladies. Nobody rushed in my head, and the detangling process was not painful at all. Ashely did a superb job braiding my hair. She listened to my needs and again, it was completely painless. My hair is bleached on the ends and Ashley kindly let me know that I am need of a trim, which I appreciated. She wasn’t rude or condescending like SO many stylists in the area. Before I left, I told them they would have a customer for life because I really don’t have anything negative to say and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will be back....more

I have found my braider! Ashley is phenomenal! I took a chance on going to someone based on google reviews and I’m deeply satisfied with her work. Her attention to detail, the quality of work, and the calm salon atmosphere all made my visit incredibly pleasant. There was a “student” braided there today and her work was amazing. It was kinda hard to believe she was still perfecting her craft. This was not my first visit here, I always come back. Mrs. Rose does such an AMAZING job! Her work is neat and she takes pride in what she does! But it's not just Mrs. Rose that does a Great job, everyone there that I met has the same skill and passion in their work. I saw a lady getting her dreads done and they came out neat and pretty. Also everyone is always nice and smiling. The atmosphere when you walk in is very inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for QUALITY braids👌...and I even got a bit of soul therapy while there. I will be back! This is a great place to get your braids done! If you don’t want the hassle of going to someone’s house to get your hair done, this is the place for you! If you don’t want to spend 10+ hours getting basic braids, this is the place for you! The owner Ashley is very professional and takes pride in her work. She’s also very sweet and easy to communicate with. I can’t say enough good things about the place. She didn’t stop to eat a whole plate of food (only snacked), she didn’t have kids all over the place, she didn’t damage my hair, the braids weren’t extremely tight (I could sleep that night) and she didn’t braid my edges. My only suggestion is to bring some form of entertainment and earbuds just in case you get bored (but that’s anytime you go to a hairdresser). Her prices are also very reasonable too! I’m taking into consideration that shop prices are usually a bit more but usually they are LICENSED professionals so I don’t mind. Have a great day and Good luck!...more

I love my braids. I haven’t had braids in 9 years. Only problem I have is, it took entirely to long. Rose kept saying it’s because my hair is to short but not true because it never took this long everrrr from 10:00 am until 8:40 unacceptable. Shouldn’t have took that long. I was very happy and satisfied with my knotless braids! I was told by 3 different stylist that they could NOT braid my hair because it was too short. Ashley asked me to come in for a consultation and said YES we CAN do it!!! Everyone in the salon was very nice and friendly. As you entered the salon your temperature is taken by the owner. My stylist is the BOMB!!! She did an AWESOME job on my hair, the braids are very neat and perfect. She is ALSO fast... my hair was done in 4 hours!!

Ashley performed a retwist on my loc's and did a great job. I left my previous loctician of 5yrs and was nervous about trying someone new but she was knowledgable and attentive to my concerns. I love love love these ladies. Got my hair braided a few months back, but forgot to write a review. I got back length braids installed, and what was suppose to take 6 hours, only took 3! I did have two people working on my head, but the time flew by. I will advise one thing, TAKE ADVIL! You'll thank me later. They do braid tight, but it's worth it because it stays in longer. I will definitely be going back to these ladies very soon....more

This is the only place I go for my braids. I've gotten a sew in, and they braided my hair so tight the nerves in my head started jumping lol, but OMG I was beautiful. The next two times i got the skinny , long Senegalese twists down to my butt. They do them small and long like I love them and people always tell me how I look like a Nubian princess! I refer everyone I know to them. I fall asleep and all and they're so patient. And the hair in their store if you buy it from there is always quality. And if you need to come on a s unday or Monday they'll accommodate you. I love this place!...more
